To preserve the beauty of my gourds they have been protected with either a wax or a spar urethane finish.   I use a fade resistant dye, however, the gourds should be displayed OUT OF DIRECT SUNLIGHT.   They may be dusted with a soft cloth.

Dancing Geckos I

Six geckos dance their way around the mid-section of this gourd.  Three are ‘cut-outs’ and three are painted with individual designs of variegated gold leaf, and genuine turquoise cabochons.  In addition, one of the ‘cut-out’ geckos, adorned with gold leaf, sits independently next to the gourd (or anywhere else you want).

This magnificent teal canteen gourd features a genuine deer antler handle.  A rim adorned with a pine coil, fringes of glass beads, and assorted feathers provide a striking accent
